What we collect
- Tester applications: what you write in the form (name or handle, email, links to your work, genres, DAW, computer, your answers). The form runs on Tally.
- Emails: messages you send to our @lockdin.info addresses, and the emails we send you. Email runs on Cloudflare and Resend.
- Beta: your licence key, an anonymous ID of the computer where you activate it, and the feedback you give us.
- Website: standard technical logs of our hosting provider (Cloudflare). No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
- Sentry (EU, Germany): error reports from our cloud engine, so we can fix crashes. Only the error and where it happened: never your MIDI, your key or your IP.
Why
To choose testers, run the beta, answer you and tell you about LOCKDIN if you agreed to it. We never sell your data.
Newsletter
If you tick "Keep me posted", we email you LOCKDIN news and the launch. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. We keep your email and the record of your consent until you unsubscribe, then only the proof that you unsubscribed.
How long
Tester applications: until the end of the beta plus 12 months, then deleted (if you joined the newsletter, your email stays on that list until you unsubscribe). Emails: as long as needed to handle your request. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Italy: the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
Where
Some of our providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, it is protected by the providers' standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
